Our Three Pillars
What We Stand For
Pillar 01
Community Collaboration & Support
We bring generations together — connecting tomorrow’s heroes, today’s heroes, and yesterday’s heroes — bridging cross-generational divides to share knowledge and build stronger communities inside and outside of the trade.
We host events across the country to support carpenters who need additional work, are looking to build their team, or simply crave the mateship that Carpentry Australia provides.
With a social following of over 250,000, we keep important industry conversations alive and gain valuable feedback on the priorities and gaps carpenters face.
We celebrate carpenters not just as skilled technicians, but as good people — recognising their contributions to the industry and the broader community.

Pillar 02
Our Development Pathway
We provide carpenters with the tools they need to succeed at every stage of their career — from apprenticeships to business ownership.
We subsidise membership costs for all apprentices, ensuring young carpenters can access industry support from day one.
Our Launch Into Work program connects new talent with employment opportunities, providing real-world experience and career progression.
We provide tools for bookkeeping, mentoring, project management, and safety systems to help carpenters operate more effectively.
We assist carpenters in transitioning to builders by supporting them in obtaining their builder’s licence across the nation.
Pillar 03
Industry Advocacy
We take a leadership role in shaping the carpentry industry, ensuring that safety, wellbeing, and professional standards remain a priority.
We host Helping Hand Days, bringing the community together to support those in need.
We play a key advisory role with the Industry Advisory Group and ACFE Metropolitan Council, working closely with Build Skills and trade schools across the country.
We lead the Women in Trades initiative, advocating for greater diversity and inclusion in carpentry.
We advocate for critical licensing and registration changes, ensuring clear and fair pathways into the industry.
