In 2024, Helping Hand Day took us to Epping, where the Carpentry Australia team partnered with EcoDeck to transform a community space into something more practical, durable and built to last.
Over several days on site, EcoDeck generously donated around 700 linear metres of decking, making it possible to deliver a high-quality result that the community can rely on for years to come. Once the framing was complete, skilled tradies worked efficiently to lay the majority of the deck, a great example of what can be achieved when trades collaborate with a shared purpose.
But what made this project special wasn’t just the build. It was knowing the finished space will be used by locals day after day, a place for people to gather, connect and spend time together in an environment that’s more safe, more durable, and more welcoming.

This result wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity, effort, and teamwork of everyone involved. From EcoDeck’s hands-on support to the commitment and pride shown by every tradie on site, this project captured exactly what Helping Hand Day stands for.
Helping Hand Day reminds us that giving back isn’t about profit, it’s about purpose. When good people come together, they strengthen communities, build lasting connections, and create spaces that truly matter.
We’re proud to work alongside partners like EcoDeck, and we look forward to continuing to build not just structures, but stronger communities.
